This is a teach-in to inform people about the history of May Day and why it is still important to celebrate today. There will be a series of speakers who will be speaking on issues such as the history of the holiday, the struggles of undocumented and foreign
students, and the difficulties facing undocumented farm workers in the Rochester area.
This is a public meeting that will focus on the Russian Revolution of 1917; what happened, the lessons we can learn from it, and why it's still important today. There will be a short talk on this topic, followed by an open discussion.
This will be a rally to celebrate May Day, International Worker's Day, at RIT. We will have a march from the sundial outside Gracie's to the infinity quad, where we will hold signs and hear from various speakers about the holiday, immigrant's rights...
